Our Little Princess

Ashilene continues to be our little princess and we fall more and more in love with her every day.

Of course, Daddy has his own ideas of what a princess should look like . . .

Ashilene continues to be fascinated with her hands and mouth.  She loves sucking her thumb and Mommy’s hair.

She loves grabbing as many toys in her Activity Gym as she possibly can.

She even falls asleep while holding on to them sometimes.

I wanted to get Ashilene a new toy that she could have fun with, but she can’t really hold onto hard objects yet, so I was really excited when I found this cute Fish Toy at Babies R Us.  The ribbons that form the fish tail are easy for her to grasp, so she’s been having a lot of fun exploring her new toy.:)

Ashilene officially rolled over for the first time at her doctor’s appointment last month, but hadn’t managed to repeat the feat.  It kept looking like she was going to as she would get into positions that reminded Mommy of some of her morning exercise routine stretches . . .

Then on Saturday, October 3, 2009, she finally did it.  And Mommy even managed to capture it on video!

Ashilene’s newest trick is blowing razzberries.  Daddy says she’s beat boxing!  This is her just starting to learn how . . .

And this is her today, absolutely loving the new sound she can make . . .

We just love our little princess!
