Ashilene loves Halloween and she had many opportunities to celebrate this year. We got her a Tinkerbell costume this year, but she still fit the Little Mermaid costume we got her last year, so she had fun dressing up in different costumes for the various Halloween parties we attended.
Our Ward’s Halloween Party was on a Friday evening, so by the time I got off work we had missed most of it, but Ashilene still had fun getting some candy at the tail end of the Trunk or Treat. I neglected to get any pictures from that party, but did manage to get some at our old ward’s Halloween Party the following day. We had so much fun seeing many of our old friends from the San Leandro 1st Ward again. Ashilene had fun being silly with her friend, Hank, and had a blast in the Balloon Room!
I had fun watching Ashilene sing “I’m a Mean Old Witch with a Hat” with her friends at Joy School.
Ashilene thoroughly enjoyed trick or treating with her cousins in Castro Valley this year. Kainoa was a SWAT team member, Ashilene was Tinkerbell, Kaylana was Cinderella, Ysella was a Bumble Bee and Makeo was a Ninja.
We went to the Halloween Party for Lolo & Lola’s Ward the day after Halloween. Ashilene was especially excited to be reunited with her friend, Leiola. We were all together in the San Leandro 1st Ward until we all moved. At least Leiola’s family moved into Lolo & Lola’s ward, so we still get to see them when we go to ward activities with Lolo and Lola.:)
