I am still painfully behind in my blogging . . . I still haven’t blogged about Christmas 2010!!!! One of the fun things we did around Christmas time was go to the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sauselito for the first time. My parents took us there with my sister, GayLynn, her husband, Ryan, and their adorable son, Jonah, on December 30th. We had SO much fun that my parents got a Family Pass and I’m SO glad that they did. We were able to return with my mom, GayLynn, Ryan and Jonah on February 12th and then on February 21st, we got to go back there with Rojohn’s parents, his sister, Riesel, and her cute daughter, Kaylana, and his sister, Jubie’s, fun boys, Kainoa and Makeo. I will be posting pics from all three of those exciting visits in this post.
One of the first things that caught Ashilene’s attention, during our first visit, was this big tube tunnel. She had the best time walking through it and then running around the outside to walk through it again. She probably would’ve just kept going through that tunnel over and over if we didn’t physically take her over to some of the other fun exhibits. On that first visit she could walk through the tunnel fairly easily, but on subsequent visits she had to crouch down more and more and found it easier to just crawl through.
Ashilene had tons of fun all the water areas at the Museum.
One of her favorite places was inside Tot Spot where you had to take your shoes off and then you could walk around in the waterbed like lily ponds and crawl through tunnels and press panels on the wall to hear the sounds that the various animals make and feel different textures. She had tons of fun in Tot Spot all three times we went!

That place is awesome. We took the girls once. They were having a birthday for something and we got cake and presents-it was really fun.
She is getting so big!
