Well, Ashilene continues to break from Mommy's mold. Mommy came 16 days late for her Mommy, but Ashilene decided to come 5 days early. Mommy was consistently at the bottom of the growth charts when she was growing up, but Ashilene is at the top of the growth charts. At her doctor's appointment today, she was 23 1/2" long (90th percentile) and she weighed in at 13 lb 0.5 oz. (95th percentile)! Ashilene certainly loves Mommy's milk and Mommy is looking forward to getting buff by carrying her big baby around!
Ashilene also had to get her first round of shots today.:( Mommy and Daddy HATED to see her cry, but were quick to comfort her afterwards and she recovered fairly quickly and was back to being our happy baby girl. How did we get so lucky?
This is a picture of the cute Snoopy bandaid she received. She has one on both legs. Poor thing.

Wow! she is growing so fast. Doesn't it make you feel good to know that you are doing such a good job feeding her. She is so adorable.
I hated listening to Shyla cry during her shots. It's so not fun as they get older. She gets more shots in January and she'll be 3, old enough to keep being sad even after we've left the doctors office. I love her band aid though, SO CUTE!
